This coming Thursday, April 4th, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of S. Francisco Marto’s death. The group “Mater Fatima” is promoting a worldwide spiritual project called “Fatima for the world – Rosary and Adoration for peace”. The main celebration will take place at the parish church of Fatima, Portugal, where the shepherd children were baptized and where Saint Francisco Marto, in particular, spent many hours in prayer and adoration, consoling the hidden Jesus for he is so much offended.
At the parish church of Fatima, on this day, the Christian community will assemble to have a moment of Eucharistic Adoration, recitation of the Rosary and the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It will also be a day of fasting with time for the sacrament of Reconciliation.
Around the world, many shrines and other places, including those where the WAF is present, are associating with this program. We therefore encourage you all do mark this in your agenda and, if possible, to join in or organize some celebration for this purpose. We are attaching here a guide with the program that can be used fully or partially on this day.
